My Sister’s Lucky Fin By Caleb Waldron-Kim (Age 7)

Hi! My name is Caleb. I have a sister (Savannah) who has a “lucky fin.” I do not have a lucky fin but one time I broke my arm because I fell off the monkey bars. My sister could not do the monkey bars because she has her lucky fin on her arm. One time we went to this college so she could have a robot-arm to climb the monkey bars and other things (like pinching me). My experiences at the lucky fin conferences that I have gone to (because my sister has a lucky fin) are pretty fun. I have breakfast there and after breakfast I have to keep myself occupied until the conference starts so I usually hang out with other kids who are also trying to find a place to be occupied. About 2 years ago I hung out with a group of kids that were busy wrestling. After the conference there is show-and-tell and last time I was at the show-and-tell me and my sister did a card trick and it fooled the WHOLE AUDIENCE (my sister still will not tell me how to do the magic trick by the way). So now I don’t really know what else to say so I will have to say goodbye (for now).

P.S. I wanted to write to talk about how I think that a lucky fin makes you notice that you are unique because everyone is unique but some people think they aren’t so I thought that if you have a lucky fin then you realize that you, your friends, your family and every other soul on earth is unique and special.
